This blog is created so authors of all genres can kick their feet up and enjoy a positive environment. This is a place where I will be posting books that I enjoy and inspirational pieces for all genres. My motto is simple here: if you can't say anything nice, don't say it all.

Vintage Romance Cover O.O
I guess you could say this is where they got the idea for She's All That. I don't know what is more alarming; the fact that it says true to life, his shirt, or her pants.

Spa Tip Of The Day: How To Self Hand Massage
Here is a great article on the www.livestrong.com website on How to Self Massage. I thought this would be great for the cramped hand of an author or blogger. Have a great day.
Hands
1. Stroke the back of your hand, pushing firmly up toward the wrist and gliding back gently. Then squeeze the hand all over, pressing it between your palm and your fingers.
2. Squeeze each finger and make circular pressures over the joints with your thumb. Then hold the finger at its base and pull it gently to stretch it, sliding your grip up the finger and off the tip.
3. Stroke between the tendons on the back of the hand with your thumb. Stroke in the furrow to the wrists, doing four strokes in each furrow.
4. Turn your hand over and support the back with your fingers. Do firm circular and static pressures with your thumb, working all over the palm and around the wrist.
5. Finish the massage by stroking the palm of your hand from the fingers to the wrist. Push into it with the heel of your other hand, then glide gently back and repeat.

Tuesday Visual and Inspirational Quote
zjanoir
I have two inspirational quotes for you today. Have a great day!
"If my doctor told me I had six minutes to live, I wouldn't brood. I'd type a little faster."
Isaac Asimov
"There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written or badly written."
Oscar Wilde
And a quick shout out to Tam. Thank you for helping the rookie on her blog and answering her silly questions.

Monday GRL Albuquerque Author Ethan Day
One of the things you will learn or may already know is that my sis and I are very close. My sister Stephani, is a M/M author. Anyway, sis called me up last year and said, "Want to go on vacation with me?" She told me about the GRL Retreat and by the end of the conversation, I had already registered while talking to her. Needless to say this is our sister vacation every year from now. To celebrate, I will be promoting a GRL author twice a week since there are eighty of you and once a week will leave authors out. This will introduce you to the amazing authors and give you a chance to read their books before meeting them if you are going to the retreat.
So today, I'm going to start off with a bang with none other than Ethan Day. Ethan is one of the coordinators of the retreat. I had the pleasure of meeting him last year and what a fantastic person he is. I'm actually going to show you two books by Ethan. His latest, Anything For You and my favorite of his, Self Preservation. These are two great romantic comedies.
To Ethan, It will be a pleasure to see you again this year. I hope you will not have a soap stealing ghost at your hotel room this year :) Steph and I will bring an extra travel size gel for you, just in case you run into the same predicament.
Check out his spectacular website at http://ethanday.com/home.html
He has the links to where you can purchase his books on his website. B&N, Amazon, and All Romance Ebooks to name a few.
Jason Miller is still in the closet. He's never found a reason to kick the door open, walk into the light of day, and tell the world he's gay. At least that's what he keeps telling himself -- along with a multitude of other solid arguments. As an ad man, he's used to hawking a bill of goods, he just never imagined he'd fall victim to his own hype.
When ex-activist/coming out guru, Chad Wellington came along, he was the one thing Jason never saw coming. Like a moth to a flame these two opposites ignite leaving Jason to decide if he can handle the heat.
Davis is a Historic Preservationist who’s stuck in the past. It’s been six years since his steamy four year relationship with stage actor Jack Monroe ended and Davis still can’t imagine his life with anyone other than Jack, the only man he’s ever loved.
When Jack calls and invites Davis to his wedding to Tadd Austin, a prominent architect in Chicago, Davis is stunned. There’s no way in hell Davis can stand by and watch the life he always expected to get back slip away to some guy Jack barely knows. Tadd Austin, indeed…more like Toad Ass-ton, Davis thinks. He’s going to the wedding with only one goal in mind. To do whatever it takes to win back Jack…the Toad is toast!
Jack is stuck between the possibilities of what could be with Tadd and the passionate past he had with Davis. In the short amount of time Tadd has known Jack, he’s fallen hard. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to keep from losing the new love in his life.
Alex Parker is a wealthy British playboy who’s always had a different guy on his arm and in his bed. He’s never been one for convention and is a bit taken back when he stumbles across Davis. He’d like nothing better than to knock Jack out of Davis’s head once and for all.
Only true love will survive as the tug of war ensues in this Bermuda love triangle from hell.
Have a great day everyone! Thank you Ethan.
